Hello to all of my new Trance friends.
I am finally out of the Trance closet after about six months of secretive trance curiosity!!! Many thanks to my Canadian mentors, Josh Shanahan (winner of the Party Animal Award of the Year 2005), Lisa Loo (winner of Best Supporting Trance Addict in a female role), Fraser Elsdon (boyfriend of the year) and of course, Ferry Corsten who popped my "trance cherry" as they say.
Special hello to Jamie from Collingwood, Frankie from TO and to my new friends Laura, Kelly (Yankee Baby), Andrea and Francis. PVD in NYC would not have been the same without you. And don't worry Laura- I'm not after your man, afterall- he IS branded to YOUR foot (Francis just told me the story over lunch at Chipotle). Apologies, I don't know your TA names yet. I promise to get better.
I look forward to meeting more of you. You can find me in NYC or TO, usually chewing, chatting or piggy backing around the club on someone's back. Please remember, I'm very new to all of this- so go easy on me. I am however, very proud to and to say that I correctly identified three tracks at PVD this weekend: The Other Side, Summer Dream and So Serene. Are you proud of me guys?

so yeah i've been djing for 5 years now, learing to produce at the moment, havent had gigs in nyc yet but i had alot back in Romania when i went there for a 2 year vacation in Bucharest, where im originally from. currenly getting back into djing since i've been out of it for a few months due moving back to the states. just trying to meet some people in the area with this similar interest and simple obsession :) |
