Can we talk about people who live beyond their means? (pg. 8)

I spend my money the way I see fit and try not to concern myself with how others choose to live their lives. From what I've observed even when people make more money they simply increase their spending. As long as I'm making enough to live comfortably I'm happy. People who save money and don't spend it, derive happiness from the sense of security of having money in the bank in case they need it. Peace of mind can be more valuable then the temporary pleasures of buying things.

Oh man this just made my week. I used to have this on a cassette tape in gr 5 and listen to it at recess.

On topic- Eli's sisters have used every form of welfare and handouts they could access and use their paycheques to buy new apple and fast food. One still lives on welfare and the other moved back to their inlaws to mooch off of them. What really bothers me is they used to call and say like 'can I borrow done money? They're going to cut the cable/repo my car (again)/ can't afford Christmas presents for the kids, and then eli would feel bad and give them the money (of course we never got paid back). After a couple of thousand dollars later I called them myself and told them they wouldn't be getting any money from us. Eli makes 3 figures and they have nicer than we do, figure that out :/

easily done if you're a single bachelor and manage your money correctly (i.e. cut the junk food cuz that's usually the most expensive stuff, avoid the grocery deli again due to cost, buy the budget name instead of the brand name, ramen and bologna etc lol). when i first moved out at age 18 i spent about 30-35 bucks a week on food. it was plenty for my schedule of working 2nd shift 40 hours and going to uni in the morning, and i ate pretty well i'd say. bread, sandwich fixen's, frozen pizzas, breakfast stuff, snacks, juice, eggs, ramen. that was plenty

(i don't drink milk, usually. unless it's in cereal)

Junk food is cheap. Eating properly in NA is not so cheap. What you listed is ghetto food that will make you fat and ugly. Try eating a low carb diet on 30 $ a weak.
