Going through my house folders I've noticed that I've got a lot of weird stuff, deep stuff, mellow stuff but not a lot of stuff that's really just raw groove. I dig most of the tracks he plays in this video, music starts around 12 minutes. Or maybe it just sounds good because of the context of the video? I don't know. This was recorded in 2008, by the way, so at the height of tech house I guess.

Jay and I talked about this before. How I see it Ricardo plays house and many forms of it, but he never gets booked to play HOUSE house because the house he plays just isn't very...housey(?)...in the classic sense, I guess.

Maybe you should buy a lot of random tech house from 2008, go down to your local supermarket and buy the tiest €20 radio CD player you can find and then play your tracks through that. Because that's all I'm getting from that video.
