I think this whole article is being taken a bit out of context to be honest. To me it seems like these guys are tossing hype that they have worked into the pipes to generate a buzz, but nothing really on the table. Either way, I don't think we'll be seeing anything in NA for at the very least two years.

I went last year. Tickets by themselves are nearly impossible to get. I just bought a travel package from somewhere else that I wanted to visit. That way, you can visit that city and then get locked into some tickets.

My package included Dreamville camping but I ended up staying at a hotel and just sold my Dreamville wristband the first day in the line to get in.

When you get to the airport, they have a bunch of tables set up in the baggage claim where you pick up your Tomorrowland packet that includes your wristbands. I would get the travel packages as soon as possible. They do sell out. Most of them sold out quickly after the regular tickets went on sale.

Highlights for me were on the smaller stages watching Maceo Plex, DJ T, Gregor Tresher, Solomun, Seth Troxler, etc. The main stage got packed later on in the day but was always accessible.

It says 1 ticket per tent... so she needs a separate pass? or am I not reading that right.

Access to separate Easy Tents Zone + DreamVille
1 ticket PER TENT - Capacity/ tent = 2 or 4 pers
Including:
Come in a relaxed way to DreamVille without your tent… We install your personal Tomorrowland tent with a little light to make it cozy.
The Gathering (officiële warming up party), Thursday 25/07 (14h00 - 01h00)

That means 500 euro for two right? Since it does not say the separate easy tents zone access is for 2 people... So confusing!

They changed it this year from the looks of it. Now the Relax Room is the only two people per ticket Dreamville accommodation. The Easy Tent will sleep 2/4 people, but each will need an Easy Tent ticket to gain access to the segregated Easy Tent zone.

At least that is what I am getting from the poorly written FAQ.

For anyone like myself looking to skip the bull of international sales day and the hell that comes with it. The train travel package from London is the cheapest travel package at 650 euros. All the rest of the travel packages around Europe are 750euros. They all include a 3 day pass, Dreamville access, bus to and from station, and lunch/breakfast each day(?). In the faq it says if you don't use your flight/train you can gather your Dreamville wristband at the entrance on Thursday.

I dont really get how the travel packages are a good deal... And they really need to making f***ing plans more detailed and understandable... for the amount of money we spend to do this entire trip, they could afford to hire a better content writer to not confuse the out of us going. *****

You overpay for the travel packages but they guarantee you a ticket. That was the only reason why I bought it last year.

Is it really that insane? It like overpaying a 500-600 euro for 2 people :O

You will probably ending paying around the same price on the secondary market without the travel package if you don't get them the day they go on sale. At least with the travel package the tickets are in your name and they did check my passport to get the tickets last year.

I guess that is what I'll have to do... I am going to Ibiza 2 weeks before, but I have a week to kill... where do you suggest I visit for a week? Then I can use the travel package after I am done with that trip =). I was thinking Barcelona, but I heard 'Barcelona' can be seen in 2-3 days, which I plan on doing.

As I won't have that much cash to splash for the packages right away. I'm gonna take a gamble with the international on sale. May sound silly, but watch this space :)

Barcelona is definitely one of my favorite cities and it is close to Ibiza if you are going there. Weather should be great that time of year. They also used to have a Pacha there a while back that I went to but I don't think that it is still in business. Either way, I don't think that you can go wrong with Barcelona.
