what style does she do?
also, most kung fu styles rely heavily on punches and kicks so by the time you're wrestling with her she'd probably have hit you in the face with her elbow if you weren't her brother (i hope this makes sense)... |

kung fu is actually a style?
i thought it was just a term made by white people to generalize anything involving kicking |

i took aiki-jujitsu and then realized that my boxing and wrestling beat everyone there but the teacher, so i quit, cuz its bull**
edit
plus im wondering how many of you have been in fights. REAL fights, not that bull where you push around a bit and someone falls down. im talkin heads smashed into walls, busted knuckles ass kickings.
you realize pretty quick that a fight is about 3 punches and then you are on the ground biting, and gouging eyes, and choking people. |

Where did you take aiki-jujitsu Orbax? It's a very formidable art. Too bad your experience wasn't as good. |

Kung Fu is a bit of a misnomer. It isn't one martial art, its a collective term for all the (hundreds of) VASTLY different martial arts originating in China... Some popular systems included under teh Kung Fu name are: Wing Chun, Choy Lay Fut, Hung Gar, Baguazhang, Xingyichuan, Taijichuan etc... While Various styles of Karate are also often defined as different styles of one system, this description may be more accurate in the case of karate as most karate styles look quite similar in practice, have common historical roots and are based on similar combat principles. While the various systems originating in China are completely different in theory and in practice, often one system is based on principles that completely contradict teh principles of another system... Many of these systems are historically unrelated too. |
