yea these kids wouldn't know a quality show if someone knocked them over the head with them. Shows in the US do not compare to the ones abroad. We've all known that for YEARS. But at least it was priced decently and quality productions were coming out. Now its ACCEPTABLE to gorge ppl out of their bank accounts while advertising similar lineups at EVERY festival. lmao! But yea, let the ppl do what they want. Id rather travel or do something memorable/productive with my money. LOL and btw BIG show has NEVER meant BETTER. Especially from what ive seen come out in the U.S. since this HUGE EDM explosion. (damn i was looking for a *puke* emoticon, that doesnt exist on here??? lolol) :nervous:

massive events like this msg deal are more oriented toward the festival crowd...there are ty festival-type events all over europe, too. the OP referenced ADE, which is cool and all - but acts like Richie Hawtin (a main attraction there?) seem to be pushing a rather commercial agenda as of late, not entirely unlike that of SHM et al.. Those 'in-the-know' are so quick to jump behind someone like him that they look past how heavily he's been advocating his 'brand'.
This is modern 'edm' marketing, that's all. There's money to be made and most of your favorite djs aren't above selling their soul to get a piece of the pie.
