tehlord, you mentioning hard to prgramme synths minded me of one I bought once.
It was an Ensoniq - at the time the drums sounded insane to me, and I've yet to experience that blow away factor since, but it was impossible to programme or use so I took it back to the shop.
What happened to that firm? |

I think they went belly up like a load of others. I had an SQ1 in about 1989, but I never even remotely looked into programming it lol.
You can get a pretty good free SQ80 emulator now though.
