Quite literally what the are you talking about? :conf:

You could easily use 5 part chords in one of 4 parts of multi timbral, and the Virus sounds good, a lot. :p

Personally I never/rarely used more than one part with any of my NLs when I had them, so voice stealing was never an issue for me, even with the 16-voice NLs.

hmm pricey, but the musikmesse video sounds so nice

Maybe something like Access's Total Integration?

THAT will be a kiss of death. Just got rid of my piece of Virus TI2 (2nd one) and will never buy another virus (post-Virus C) product again.

Nothing but ing glitches, pops, errors, etc. I spent more time chasing bugs than C4L on his average Friday night! (I keed, I keed!)

this TI - get the damn thing stable over MIDI without choking and holler back when you're ready. What pissed me off is arrogance of support - "Hm, jee wiz, verks ova hea, mazt be problim on yir sistem!"

This happens if your use a USB cable as the audio input.
Plug in some audio cables and problem solved.

Honestly wondered why they even bothered offering the audio over USB thing in the first place. I never got that to work.
Love the sound of that synth though. Definitely one of my favorites.

I guess all I can say is "Hm, jee wiz, verks ova hea, mazt be problim on yir sistem!" :p

I haven't had any of those problems in years - probably since OS3 - with either my Polar TI1 or my keyboard TI2. I assume your TI's OS is up to date and you've got it connected to a dedicated USB card???

have to say ive never had any of the much talked about problems with my virus ti - pretty bulletproof in that regard in my setup

back to the NL4 - so it will be possible to have synced arps/LFOs now?

Apparently.

I read that the NL4 keyboard doesn't have aftertouch. Does anybody know if it will receive aftertouch?

I would think so - aftertouch is part of the standard MIDI protocol, so I can't imagine that the NL4 wouldn't receive it. The NL2/2X didn't send AT, but it received it (same for the NL1 IIRC). The NL3 transmitted and received it, so the NL4 is a step backward in that regard. Pretty disappointing that they didn't include it in the NL4, but it wouldn't affect me, since I'd only be interested in the rack module if I were to buy one.
