HOLY ING !!! I can't believe they shut down buzz ... right after they booked tiesto! This is ing ridiculous ... it's not like people were dying off like in Twilo. And what's even scarier is this whole glow that's happening ... man if both clubs shut down then DC has jack . The ing bump and grind, the white man shuffle, poor mixing, and ty track selection at dream and numerous imitations. What does this say to international DJ's when they have nowhere to mix and are not welcome in our nation's capital? This almost makes me want to become a terrorist. Hopefully Glow will survive since it's not as ravy ...

(fingers crossed) Hopefully they'll sign on Tiesto ...

well now i don't feel so bad that i missed my chance to spin there on the 27th (i missed a spin-off for a spot while i was in spain). if i won and got the spot .. i dunno what'd i do.

A couple major things piss me off about this whole thing:

1. Some ing morons ed it all up for the rest of us.
2. The government and most of the public is biased against electronic music and electronic music clubs.

I am 18, listen to Trance/Progressive/House and I have never drinken, or done any drugs in my life(nor plan to in the future). I was looking forward to goin to Buzz very soon, but unfortunately, the government decided to be homos and deal with the problem by eradicating it. That takes the fun and rights away from all the people who don't participate in the retarded actions of the few.

What should happen, is instead of just going undercover and saying "hey look, theres some problems here" and then going from that to "we're shutting you down," the government should have made buzz have stricter rules and pat downs and other security(?) measures.

Overall this whole thing is bull, and I think it also could be a way to get back at shutting down the RAVE act. ing government and public just discriminates against Electronic Music and I can't stand it.

If any type of protest or petition goes up, I'm definitely up for it. We might not be able to reverse the decision, but we could slap them in the face and make them look like asses.

Now that I am thinking about it, I really do think it could have something to do with shutting down the RAVE act =(.

I really for for all of you in the Dc area. Even though I havn't been there myself , many of my close friends went to buzz alot. All I can say is that when Gulliani did this to us in ny and shut down Twilo everyone flipped . It was very very very deppressing to all of us who went there because it was our home... but as ed up as things seem they will get better. When one club goes down 5 new ones come up in its place.

THAT .... i cant believe they shut it down... buzz has been my home for almost 4 years now... and they shut it down without a second thought... buzz is the ultimate clubbing in dc... glow, ing sucks in comparison... watch out everyone, this is going to happen EVERYWHERE!!! we need to be supporting ourselves... just a matter of time...

DONT GIVE UP YOUR RIGHT TO DANCE!!!!

ING BULL!!!!!!
