i dont think i can make it to this event.
but for those that go it will be a solid party IF and only IF output has some control over the door and dont let it get too overpacked.

for sasha it was a lil bit of a madd house but thats cause between the people who went to his other party plus people who showed up for his new date made it a hassle.

for 20 bucks and a proper sized crowd at output you honestly cant go wrong. i really love this venue. i been there twice in one week for both a prog and techno guy and the venue, sound, crowd, vibe has all been something alot differnt that what nyc had to offer in the past few years.

Ya, cool club. Love the funktion one sound system. Except at the bar on the upper level. Those speakers were really ing loud and made ordering drinks a pain.

im sure they will have tickets at the door. i don't see why you can't get in if you get there early.

they could possibly release more tickets, you guys never know

What’s the verdict for Output? Is it authentic in the fact that they aren’t catering to the VIP/bottleservice/beautiful people crowd as they claim or is it just PR BS? Is it a similar vibe as what club Love was like when it first opened?

Thinking about checking out digweed when he plays there since can't make it Carl.

It's not PR BS. I would suggest you check it out for John Digweed.

There is no VIP or bottle service of any kind.

There are tables and seats upstairs but that's for everybody to use.

PS. There is a beautiful crowd, not the YOLO kind. I appreciated the fact that there were no neon kids bumping into me and spilling my drink.

Crowd at Output was people who actually like the music from my experience. Much better than Pacha where half the kids might as well have been on MTV's Jersey Shore.

Also, there's no VIP section. It's just an open club. Downstairs there's a dance floor. Upstairs there's a railing that overlooks the dance floor and DJ booth, and there are tables and booths anyone can sit in (i.e. non-reserved).

Sound system is great, but I think it's a little too loud.

Sounds good. I bring earplugs with me these days anyhow, lost enough hearing as it is!

Now i just hope digweed has some trance gems tucked away in crate, been dying to hear Age of Love again on a good system for a while now.

Still going to try to see Carl though, might swing by that night to see if i can sneak in.

I didn't get tickets, but I would think they'll sell some at the door.

They're more expensive at the door, and the club always tries to make it look like there's a line out the door. So I'm assuming the lack of tickets is just their marketing strategy. I'm definitely showing up.
