Also, Output is super loud. I have no idea how so many people there do not wear ear plugs. |

I've used the Etys. They're -20, but I find them to be very uncomfortable. I don't like plugs that go that deep into your ear.
I use Mack's moldable plugs. -22dB and they don't go into your ear canal at all. |

Ya, I need to find better plugs.
I bought the Etys because I figured for $10, I'd rather be uncomfortable than lose my hearing. |

um wow. richie went IN last night. in your face the whole night, he never let up. he was dropping nuclear bombs still at 530AM.
good to hang with the usual suspects. nice to see the line move quickly.. only took 10 minutes to get in.
crowd was a bit bad last night. a little more packed thancarl cox but some pretty annoying people. not ruin your night bad but nevertheless.
DAT BASS last night - holy . third time at output and i feel like the system sounded 100x better last night. maybe it's because i was smashed but HOLY HELL. on the mainfloor, it was a straight tremor. DAMN SON.
really impressed with richie, most importantly. good night. |

I agree about the sound system. I wonder if there's a break in time or something on those speakers. Every time I go to Output the sound system keeps sounding better and better. |

Noel was really great, kept it minimal and had good vibe going.
Hawtin was amazing, he was more tech-huosish rather than minimal but he was relentless.
Output is simply ing great. Love the place already, the sound wasn't too loud to me and it was perfect. I can see myself going there many times.
Actually, i really dig the no photo policy. You dont see people holding up phones constantly. |

First, a little shout out is in order to you TA's. I was never big on techno, but after reading some of these threads here I finally going out to a few gigs now I'm a convert. I dig these sounds a lot now and I gotta thank you guys for exposing it to me.
on to Hawtin and Output.
My first time there and I already love this little club.. The vibe is excellent. And dear lord, that sound coming out from these speakers, never heard anything like it. And, yes, that Hawtin's intro.. I'm pretty sure if that place had windows, they would have to order new ones after that opening. My soul never shook so hard. I will most definitely come back for more. |
