Ghetto Asians don't act ghetto because they grew up "in the streets." One of my best friends in college was from New Jersey (parents moved here from Korea) and talked like that and I made fun of him for it all the time. It's called being a chameleon. He never took offense and even laughed about it. I guess there's just a bunch of weepy vaginas on this board who think making fun of the caricature that is EARNYOURKEEP is so awful.

It's one thing to be a Malibu's Most Wanted wannabe.
It's another to be someone who inherits a certain way of talking and kind of behavior because of the influences of the area/background they come from.
It says a lot about you and where you come from (Rusty), the way you generalize races.

There are no black people in Ireland.

Yea... your ignorance is sort of understandable, actually. When my family came over on the boat they had the same perspective you have. Most Europeans do.

Right, because being proud of ones "ghetto" roots so much that it completely alters the way you talk is entirely a product of American blacks. "Everybody wanna be a nigga, but don't nobody wanna be a nigga."
If I grew up around that I'd read a few books and gtfo of there and never look back, it's really an embarrassing culture to embrace.
Besides, you have no idea who that kid is. He could be china town's most wanted. Have some pride in your heritage, don't stoop to the lowest common denominator. Hasn't anybody seen boyz n the hood?

Let it go, Stephen.
I agree that more people should have pride in their heritage, especially most Americans, but people are allowed to talk as they please. And, I know you find this hard to believe (which is ironic coming from you), but people pick stuff up based on where they live. In a very real sense, in some ways much more than wherever your grandparents are from, where you grow up and live is part of your heritage.
I know you enjoy being the whipping boy of the forum, and it certainly does lead to lulz, but just chill out.
