so let's see what venue gets the pick for the make-up, if it comes....

Culprit introduces Hot Natured, a new project from Jamie Jones and L.A. resident Lee Foss. A modern take on classic and future music, with the party always in mind, Hot Natured has already been turning heads with its debut parties at this year’s DEMF and WMC.
Jamie Jones is a man who needs no introduction. A stalwart of the Crosstown Rebels crew he is one of the UK’s most sought after DJ and producer talents, a regular at the likes of Fabric and The End with international residencies spanning the globe. His productions have been picked up by some of the world’s top house and techno labels including Freak n Chic and Crosstown Rebels, and it was no surprise when he and fellow Brit Simon Baker were called upon to kick start Get Physical’s Get Digital label. His latest smash ‘Summertime’ was dubbed one of the track of 2009’s WMC by Resident Advisor and his eagerly anticipated full length drops later this year on Crosstown Rebels. Hot Natured unites Jones in the studio with his long time brother-in-arms and close friend Lee Foss.
Chicagoan turned Angeleno, Lee Foss has quickly made a name for himself in his new home town. A regular on the decks with Droog and an Avalon residency, his move West coincided with LA’s techno renaissance and Foss has become a key player in the city’s musical scene. Despite club demand for him behind the DJ booth, Foss has spent the last twelve months tirelessly honing his production skills in Droog’s ‘Bunker’ studio. With a slew of forthcoming solo releases and remixes, plus collaborations with Jamie Jones and Lee Curtiss, and with his tracks already being supported by everyone from Laurent Garnier to Ewan Pearson, Lee’s hard work is paying big dividends and with Hot Natured he is poised for stardom.

LA outfit, no?
Time slot though is not that bad, leaves room for something later on
Am I one of the few people that actually likes T5? |

Um I just saw the Hard fb page and I'm appalled. They do nothing but yolo rage parties. Why the would Verboten agree to work with them?? It's two polar opposite crowds. In for the after party but this is infuriating. |

T5 is such a cold and vibeless venue for this party. Just horribly wrong venue for this. I've seen them at DC10 and Playa....pretty much will be a let down no matter what but with this bs its not even close. Hard to pass up seeing Anabel tho, so hot. |

| CarS, I love T5 haha. It's got great space, they're very strict on capacity, and nice sized bars on both floors. Plus, roof has smoking area (AND bar last time I was there). What's not to like? |

Looks like the LA version of Webster Hall :)
I actually do not mean that to be judgemental, because with my weird music listening habits, I do go there, and seldom mind the place, unlike most here (not much lately though, the offering competition has gotten so much more, it's harder to justify...)

Definitely strange, but:
Hard hasn't had much (if any) presence around here from what I've noticed (correct me if wrong), so promoter-recognition-draw here can't be very big.
Unlike Verboten, where people will def. look into events they're doing, even if not so familiar with the night's line-up.
If so, I'm not worried that the "Hard crowd" would swamp this, not that I would have a problem even if, see above

Can see what you mean, but I've heard that about Output as well...

Def. run like a concert venue, not club with respect to capacity, but it can get crowded too. Agree, with the upstairs levels, there's always a place you can escape to if you need more space.
That roof-top area is good, when open, def. appreciated.
Plus, some of the really good stuff I've seen there.
What's not to like?
One of the places that looks inside your wallet during pat-down.
Getting kicked out :(
Once you know, you adapt.
Overall, a decent venue imo as well. |

Yeah I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with almost all of that, lol |
