I am not surprised in the least bit. Ammonium Nitrate fertilizers are an extremely powerful explosive, and the process in making it involves fairly explosive chemicals as well.
ANFO (Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil) explosives are a very commonly used industrial explosive used in the mining industry, and because of its ease of acquisition it is a choice explosive for terrorists. The OKC bombing, the first WTC attack, and a number of other high profile bombings were all ANFO bombs.
Basically don't with the stuff. It likes to explode big. If I knew I was near a fertilizer plant that was on fire I'd be going the the other way as fast as possible. |
Are you a professional consultant to fertilizer companies as well?? |

Do you have a breadth of knowledge that spans further than your tiny cock?
Figured that info was pretty common knowledge. |

you realize that ANFO is a mixed compound...... the AN part is very stable.... its when you mix it with the FO part (see diesel fuel for terrorists, and less volatile component for industrial blasting) then it becomes dangerous.
Unless some libertarian broke into the plant and dumped 40,000 gallons of diesel into their batching silo's, i doubt this was an ANFO explosion. |

| Dude nou has first hand experience with ANFO through research. I think he would know that. |

wait a minute, did you just negate nou's common knowledge base, but he consults on ground warfare infantry and city wide sanitation services because his research abilities makes him a credible source with experience |
