Okay this is probably mostly for pot smokers in here but anyways... Does anyone here listen to punk, ska or reggae? I know personally I love millencolin and to lesser extents I like Sum 41, Pennywise, Goldfinger and many other punk bands. I also like Sublime's ska work like same in the end. And I love sublime and marley for reggae.

Anyone else?
Nadi
I like all the bands u mentioned except for sum 41, there tunes are designed to be catchy(which isnt bad) but in my opinion fail to do so. Also they and goldfinger arnt real punk, and pennywise is just barely punk.

oooh touchy subject...

i listen to a little punk...and while i dont smoke too much just now, i actually went on a millencollin dling spree the other day. i think punk is cool just cause it has the same thing that trance does, and most good music - feeling. nowadays thats the first thing i will notice. nothing beats punk for run around in circles and break stuff energy...no not even heavy metal(with SOAD excepted). alt peeps *might* say that blink182 isnt punk, i still love them, especially their old like Cheshire Cat. AFI is the other band i listen to in this genre.

not heavily into ska, alt yes, i did buy a no doubt album...just like the rest of the country(whether this is ska or not).

my cousin is heavily into reggae and has some really good he picked up in Jamaica. there just aint a reggaeaddict.com, so im not one to talk. oh, and get this! my friend - biggest smoker i know, doesnt like reggae, cause nothing happens supposedly. hes a little sheltered tho!

anyhow : DIY PUNK USED TO OWN ! and it still owns the underground scene! ( do it yourself !)

phak sum41 and these wanabee punks that wear metal pins and rip their jeans just to be in style, when in fact, it used to be the reality of punks in the past cause they had no money......

phak dat studio commercial , big label , *punk*

( and I'm not talking about pennywise and such , but the stuff that makes it on to MTV )

As Ive said on these boars before Bad Religion is the best band ever Propigandi is good, rancid isn't bad. As far as alternative goes I really like all of 311s work and sublime is pretty damn good too.

biznology
i dunno bout 311...a band from Nebraska that stops smoking hooner...ugh...but live on punkaddicts|
