let things be clear between both of you, don't rush things, and don't get to involved in your mind, before an actual meeting.
I know it's hard to see things that way.
but , if you're sure of the other persons feelings, go along with them , and try not getting carried away, it's always pretty easy to talk online, and then back out when you're in front of the person , for fear of being rejected, previous lies, etc etc , the list goes on.
when feeling *airy* it's hard being straight forward thinking, so try to balance it out; IT CAN WORK, but it takes time. |

at least u have somewhere to stay. but take extra cash incase u do somethin that upsets the whole family! and u are thrown out. Its up to u if u go or not.
U can decide when u get home if it was worth the trip or not.

| Well i can only speak from experience and that is that the net is perfect for a lot of people who don't quite know how to fit into society which is cool but i've met some pretty odd people from the net. I'm not gonna say too much more then that but hey give it a go if you feel it's the right thing to do |

well. let me tell you i've had afew people come to my house after meeting them on icq.
My mother met someone on the interent once, and became friends through e-mail, and after about a year of knowing eachother, the person's mother and father flew here (canada) from brazil. they stayed overnight in my house afew nights, and they were nice people. the next summer their son actually stayed with us for about 2 weeks, and then they came back this past summer for a few weeks. Really nice people, and met them on the net.
i also had this 30 year old local DJ come to my house before after I met him on icq, and he was fine too.
I think most people on the interent (icq in particular) are pretty honest, and that if you really 'get to know' them, its fairly safe to meet with them. |

yes, it is, especially as the Ratio from women to men in nottingham is 3:1, your going all the way to america to get some. You must be seriously desperate and/or very ugly. Now go to a club, and ply a young lady with drink....it's a lot cheaper, and chances are she won't be a mental case.......:p |

Chatted for about an hour and a half with a guy, sending a fake pic of a girl, he was really getting into it...
Then afterwards I said: "Hey, do u actually know u r talking to a guy"
LOL you must have seen his reaction, he really couldn't believe.
But he laughed with it :) |

Me and a m8 of mine took the piss out of this guy in our school. we said we were 18 (and of course female) after chatting to him he asked if we could meet so we said ok, if u send us some pics, so he send these pics(which was ing funny) then he went on to having cyber sex (i wont go into to that)this dragged on for a week, he was desperate to meet. he ended up tellin loads of ppl in our yr he was meetin this shag @ the weekend.
