| I went to the Palladium show in LA which was 4 hours and was lucky enough to make it to Philly. I must say after a few months of Armin losing his touch he has blown me away. Not only do I love the album but (hate the single) lol he has really distanced himself from playing trouse. His Philly set was full of melodic trancy tracks minus a few here and there (D-Fat) he is really pushing uplifting lately which I am absolutely loving !! Yes it was kind of annoying seeing so many young kids, not knowing the classics... (remember we were all those kids once upon a time) he played remix's and mashups of Communication. Burned with Desire. And Shivers. As well as his new Skyfire mashup. Honestly his sets this tour have been faaaaar better than his 600 sets. Miami was TRASH and NYC was meh. |

This was no 450/Roseland or ASOT500 Miami that's for sure, but the crowd and the visuals were great. even the GUV just a few months back sucked. Yes there a few youngins puking on the side and a bunch of neon but the vibes were fun and very positive (:
I thought Armin would pull a Tiesto with his new album and tour. But I must say he is doing the opposite and blending a good mix of melodic catchy trance with uplifting to lure in the younger crowd KUDOS for that. |

I am a fellow old-timer and am ecstatic that you went to see Armin with your Mom (how cool is she!!) and your wife =).
Thanks for the review! I saw armin last at ASOT 600 and was annoyed by all the little 15 year olds. Its a sad scene these days. |
