No offense but it sounds like you got into trance during Armin's 4-peat.

Your first post was pretty long, so at first I was thinking it may have some good arguments in it ... and then I read this :

This article deals with them.
... WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ?
You wanna talk about uplifting revival and you name Armin and Tiësto who haven't been relevant to (uplifting) trance since 2005 which is eight f*cking years ago. Are you just waking up from a long time coma ???
... Then I listened to the first song you posted and I think I'll just say :
LOL

Uplifting is a genre that has remain completely static for 5 years or so and the previous 10 changed very little from it's origins. It is boring now...
There were a couple of good tracks in the previous year but their overall quality and the ratio of appearance is lower every year, all your new favourite producers work under the same formulaic procedure creating something doomed to oblivion.

2009:
And this are the only 2 tracks i recall that touched me on this genre, which in my opinion are far better than the stuff you posted because they don't shine nor in composition nor in sound design/arrangement.
While this 1st one i posted has a very subtle pizzicato/pad that i simpy love, while the 2nd one (Heidi) is not innovative in sound design or composition but the melody excells the major key.

Well, at least give him some credit for trying. He put a lot of effort and time to make a point.
Light The Fuse
generally, was trance that ever called or branded itself 'uplifting' ever really that good?

I like the Miku track, even if Megurine Luka is my favorite vocaloid :tongue2
