Probably won't be bad is Prydz but might cause if this being on a Saturday night. I'm pretty sure Sasha is leaving direct from here flying to Vegas for after hours with Dubfire. Ill be trying to hit that show after EDC will see :)

Getting pretty damn excited. Look for me in VIP all night. I have no urge to be down on the floor amongst the masses. Hopefully upstairs has plenty of room to move.

Great crowd Amazing set!!!

I met a lot of ppl that were some real old school orlando people telling me how they been going to Firestone for 15/20 years and all the other cool ass spots back in the day

Sasha played some amazing music and the opener was real good too

Glad I got talked into going to this

Guess I just had the exact opposite experience, minus what Sasha played. I thought he was playing some pretty good tunes but the crowd made it impossible to have a good time. Just my .02

What a joke last night was...

I dont think Sasha even started till 2am and stopped at 2:30....AND all the music stopped at 2:30. Thats what I heard a few people say about his start time...AND I overheard someone in the bathroom say (about end time)..."he wont come back on...its over, I know I signed the contract" (as he was laughing about it)

So yeah it was a fun time...the music b4 Sasha was alright, and the music in the small room (the den, I think) was good.....BUT to me the event was a joke...and an insult to anyone with a BRAIN or wasnt completely trashed on pills! How DARE firestone sell tickets for that price AND bill Sasha as the headliner AND as the only name on the flyer (at least on their website) if he's only gonna spin for 30 minutes!!! Firestone knows they can get away w/ it because most people there are so drugged out or dumb they wont even notice!!! And firestone is all proud of itself letting everyone know (with digital screens & someone talking on stage) that its their 20 year anniversary.....WHO GIVES A SH*T! Then on top of that the fact (as we all know) that they wrangle you into specific areas, you can barely move, there is only ONE BATHROOM if you arent VIP and the drink lines were HORRIBLE! And whats been said a lot on here....most of the crowd doesnt even dance and are packed in like a rock concert. So now you almost have to buy a VIP ticket if you want any room, a somewhat clean bathroom, or the ability to get a drink. If we would have paid for the VIP tickets I think I would have been super pissed off. So at least advertise the fact when the headliners are spinning....but YOU dont because you know you are scamming the people...and alot of people with a brain would never pay that price. Wow, back in the day (and still @ other shows) Sasha would spin mega sets for hours.....what a joke you are owners of firestone!!! if yall are familiar w/ the slang "custies" as in, "customers" from the jamband scene....well thats exactly what we felt like as we left last night. Who gives a sh*t about yer anniversary firestone....yer a joke, and sasha is a joke!!!....and how dare you trick the fans of electronic music and pull this crap!!?? Honestly, even if sasha spun for hours the overall setup of the event & staffing was horrible, and we would have stayed in the den where there was a little room to dance. Firestone knows they are dealing with drugged out idiots and that they can get away with this with no consequences. Congrats firestone...yer no different than a crooked businessman or politician....yall dont care at all about the music, the fans, and the experience actually being enjoyable.....you just want to please the mass of droned out molly bath salt zombies who are too stupid to say anything!!

The Amp in Tampa, Revolution in Lauderdale, and The Social in Orlando are better places to have fun & spend your hard earned money. Unless your a college kid on thursday night, Id stay away from firestone from now on....they probably voted for obama. :)

Yup, Orlando scene is a ing joke. Once Senso closed, it was over. To think just 6 months ago, Orlando was getting the likes of Dubfire, Chus & Ceballos, Oscar G, Hernan Cattaneo, Nicole Moudaber, etc for 3 hour sets in a great (albeit small) venue. Now the promoter that throws bath salt parties for Valencia dropouts puts Sasha on for 30 minutes in the hole known as Firestone. :stongue:
Still
3wolf, what are you talking about? Sasha spun for over two hours last night.
