2013.06.22 [CFL] Sasha @ Firestone Orlando (pg. 3)

| There were plenty of issues, but I have no idea why you're saying Sasha only played for 30 mins. He played from 12:30-2:30. It's obvious that you have an agenda against Firestone but at least get your facts straight. |

(edited this part)....hey you could be right, but either way it wasnt communicated at all unless you stayed in that room and stared at someones back for 2 hours.....either way it could have been done way better. And we had fun....its just the last few times @ firestone have had too mnay "problems" to be coincidences....
Well I'll say this....even if sasha spun longer, the overall setup of the event sucked, the price sucked, the communication of who was spinning sucked. And multiple people told us sasha didnt start till 2am. The average person doesnt even know who is spinning, and thats what firestone is counting on.....and that yer too dumb too realize whats going on, AND that yer all being ripped off. And they probably paid him alot of money......why else would he stop in Orlando on the way to Las Vegas??? Do you really think sasha is poor?? Of course not....they paid him a lot of money to be there. Hey, there is a chance you could be right about when sasha started....but we heard otherwise from many people. My wife met someone who was working with sasha (his assistant or whatever) in line for drinks, and he showed her on his phone sasha's itinerary....AND IT SAID 2-2:30AM! and it had exact times for him flying to EDC Vegas late night spinning with Carl Cox, Digweed, and 1 other DJ. And when we went in the main room and walked across to the west side bar it looked to me like the DJ's were switching at 2am and the guy had blonde hair so you tell me what I saw?? And I heard some jabroni in the bathroom basically laughing about the stop time and how short the set was!!? Either way we made the most of the night and enjoyed ourselves but it could have been done so much better. There's just a lot firestone could do to make the events better...and for that ticket price get some other known DJ's to spin..... And even if its not COOL or whatever, firestone could you at least print all the DJ's names on yer flyers and the times??! Some working adults & music fans actually care about dumb little "details" like that when we pay money to go out and have a good time. Oh and firestone....its not really a 20 year anniv for electronica. Yes, you had events back in the heyday....BUT firestone was closed or had ZERO rave/electronica events for YEARS and YEARS...and had nothing but rap & latino garbage music nights & concerts because the cops shut you down (the raves) and/or firestone wanted to make more $$$$$$ elsewhere, which I dont really blame them.....but dont act like youve been around since day 1 and have been some anchor for the electronica scene in FL because that is false... |

Everybody there was there for Sasha this is not a trouse show. A lot of older peeps who know good music and rarely come out. Didn't see many kandi kids at all |
