| What's up fellow peeps? My friends and I planning a trip West to Vegas for a couple of days in July for golf, clubs, and mayhem. It's been a long while since I've been out there. Do you have any recommendations on clubs to check out? Looking for EDM of course, so that'd be a plus. Thanks for the hotel recommendations in my other thread. I really appreciate those! Also, any fellow TA's that are in Vegas that could give me some insight on this? Also, looking for some nice golf courses if you have recommendations there. Thanks in advance. Thank God summer is almost here! Cheers. |

Hakkasan @ MGM is the New Hotspot. You can find Tiesto, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, R3Hab, Deadmau5 and more from there. Probably the best vibe in Vegas at the moment for a night Club.
Same people all at "Wet Republic @ MGM"
Wynn/Encore Wynn Social
The Light/Daylight and Eclipse open up this weekend, should be really hot as well. Thinking thew pool parties are going to rock here.
Marquee NightClub/Dayclub is where you will find more "Vegas" Trance, Sander van Doorn, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Gareth Emery, etc.
Hard Rock has Body English and different events at the Pool.
my advice is make sure your girl / guy ratios are positive girl to help you get in, and check out the pool parties |

| heard good things about light and that it was better than hakkasan ... which i don't find surprising after having been to hakkasan, that place blows. daylight was pretty cool but a bit annoying that there was only one bar that took CC (who is carrying cash around with them at a pool party?) |

| all my friends who went to light had positive reviews. There's LED everywhere on the walls and even the ceiling with impressive cirque so leil dancers. They said its better than marquee and of course much beter than hakkasan. |

I'm hearing Light dumps on Hakkasan.
Hakkasan is a pretty big bust IMO, I was completely unimpressed with it. I'm sure it will survive with the names they have on the lineups, but for how much they hyped that place, it feel just like a regular club to me.
Light looks like it has a bigger main room than Marquee and Hakkasan from the pictures I'm seeing, and the whole wall behind the DJ booth is a giant screen.
Daylight also looks pretty sweet, like a small Ushuaia, but I haven't talked to anyone that has actually been there yet. Unfortunately all of the lineups for Light and Daylight are terrible during EDC week, so I won't be seeing it at least for a few months. |

Yeah Daylight looks pretty effing dope. I am curious to hear how crowded Light/Daylight are. Other than that, the lights/presentation look way better than Hak and XS. I am a fan of Marquee's LED/dancers/lights but the dancefloor is just too damn tiny.
So if Light is the best of both worlds... I'm there! |
