The internet is playing tricks on me, and people don't seem to agree on what the actual pronunciation is. No biggie, I'm just curious.
Silky Johnson
I went with cluff.
OrangestO
I went with clow, but I think it's more like cloe.

Like dough...

This is what made me curious. I had always pronounced it "clow", until a friend of mine said "cluff"... so I decided to look into it.

The first result Google gave me has a sound bite that says "Fare-cluff" and then it's described as "Fare-clow" on the right. The second result was equally confusing with a bizarre "fare-cloo" among the possible pronunciations (but I dismissed it because it just doesn't seem right).
Sushipunk
Probably cloe, for me.

Hmm... I'm beginning to suspect it's one of those words like "either", with two accepted pronunciations.

Is there a Fairclough around here? I wonder if the Faircloughs themselves are split over this issue :p

Knew someone with the last name Clough and he pronounced it "cluff" so I'll go with "fair-cluff."

Is there an oldest pronunciation of the 3?
