We all go on about this or that riff or synth.. but is there a beat that just touches u.. and u cant stop moving when u hear it?
My fave beatz are in James Holden - Horizons, Schiller - Das Glockenspiel (Humate Mix) and Ultraviolet - Heaven (Sky Soaring Mix)
Kinda make u need moooorrree!! more prog.. mmmm,.....

when it comes to beats...damn...trance beats are one thing. but try listening to some faster breakbeat or dark breaks or even drum and bass. like ed rush's stuff, or stuff by holon and orbiting cathedrals. woohoooo! they rock.

ryme tyme & younghead - fever
holon - janus effect
orbiting cathedrals - walls of ice
just a few. hehe. i know a lot of yas don't like dnb. but hey. ya know. :) give these a try, you might like them! all of them are pretty dark too...except fever which isn't as dark as the others. |
