How many social media accounts do you have?

Facebook? Twitter? LinkedIn? Instagram? Google plus?Youtube? Etc.? Etc.?
Do you have none, one or a bunch of them?
How do you keep track of all your accounts all over the Internet?
I activate/deactivate my Facebook often. I hate it, actually.
A friend of mine recently got me to sign up for Twitter, stating it's a much better networking tool and a great way to receive news and information. No one I know beside him uses it, so I don't have any followers yet, but I do like the stream of updates I get from all of the newspapers/magazines/writers/etc I've chosen to follow.
Simply put, I don't get how people that have Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and 10 other accounts are able to manage all of these at once while still being active and managing their time wisely. I have no urge to do the same, but sometimes it does make me feel like I'm getting left behind. Or am I?
Then again, I like not caving in to social media. Who knows how long I'll stick with this new Twitter account I have. A day, a week, maybe a month.
How about you guys? Avid social media advocates or hate it with a passion? |

| I really only use Facebook. I did make a Google+ account when it first started, but it's pretty lame and I haven't logged in for over a year. Not interested in Twitter, and Instagram makes photos look , so I'm not into that either. |

Oh, boy, here we go:- Facebook
- Orkut
- Google+
- Last.fm
- Goodreads
- Connotea
- Twitter
- LinkedIn
- Rdio
- Library Thing
- Academia.edu
- Skoob
... I'm pretty sure there are more, but this is all I can think of. I guess this makes me something of a social media advocate :p
My wife has already complained she'd love to know more about my online life because she likes the things I post, but it's hard to track anything down because it's all over the place. Can't say I'm really active in all of them though - my LinkedIn account has probably been hacked by Somali pirates by now, Connotea may have closed down already, and now there's a family squatting in my Orkut profile. |

| I was on facebook for 2 days and it was horrifying. Drama found me right away, every cute girl from highschool got fat/pregnant... the whole thing just made me uncomfortable. It's like an opt-in NSA surveillance database |

facebook
I started a linkedin a few weeks ago but I haven't done anything with it.
I don't think dating sites count.
I really don't like them though, but they are fun to use, which makes me feel like a hypocrite. If FB just went away tomorrow I'd probably not care at all. I stayed off of it for years till last summer when I caved to pressure from citric and one of my cousins to get it (and I have since de-friended citric haha). |
