Is this common in Canada? I was under the impression that, in the Americas, people in average have great grandparents coming from at least 9 different countries... even if any given person has just 8 great grandparents :p |
The Irish, Italian, and Chinese dominated in terms of immigration numbers to Canada (and the US) at the turn of the last century. I'm 2 of those, and immigrated to the 3rd. Take that Mao! |

Hahaha! My goodness it's a combination nightmare of cholesterol and a napalm strike if it falls over.
My own cooking and diet has become a lot more dull as there are just certain things fussy eaters in this house won't touch. Most things I personally like seem to have either direct French or is influenced by that style of cooking. Plus when you give it a go yourself it can be quite a lot of fun. |

| There are definitely a lot of "mutt" Americans, but it's definitely not all of us. I'm a pretty "pureblood" one, with great-grandparents primarily coming from Germany and the Netherlands, and one from Ireland. |
