Yea - I liked that they pulled the booth piece - it made the booth look TINY. It was that way for BT.
The VIP booths can go though. So dumb - but then, no one builds venues for the regular people anymore. It's all about the big spenders these days. :( |

What happened to On Broadway you ask?
They closed temporarily and were about to start their remodel and put in a new sound/lighting system but then the city revoked their old alcohol permits and said they could only serve alcohol til 12am.
At the moment their lawyers are fighting to get their old permits back in place.
I absolutely loved on broadway, such a unique and massive venue. |

Both locations have been clubs in the past and have pretty standard layouts. |

Hey everyone. Just moved to san diego. Just a heads up. I just saw Sander Kleinenberg on Saturday at a place called Bang Bang. Its 6th and Market. I guess its a sushi restaurant/club.
I saw no flyers and just happened to stumble upon it. They have Seth Troxler this Sunday and Danny Daze the 30th. To me these bookings are legit, and I'm sure there will be more to come.
In terms of the place, I had a good time. Im sure there are better soundsystems, but i didnt pay a cover, had plenty of room to dance, didnt deal with any "bros" and there were quite a few hot chicks. Good music, good crowd, hot chicks = good time!
PS, Sander Killed it! Played like the Sander i used to love. Chunky tech/house! Love it! |

Seems like it was abrupt. I thought I checked recently their events page to see what they might have going on for NYE and they had a full schedule. Since it was announced that LED was parting ways, their events page is now blank. |

Yea I saw that. Still have not been. Dirty South was there last Thursday. Don't think they have an event page but they do sell tickets to their bigger shows on Ticketfly.

Nice to hear Sander killed it. I was at that show at L5 here during his "Everybody" phase that he just bombed the dance floor.
