See this is exactly why I didn't want to give my age (although i just realised I am (tiny) bit older than you); It has nothing to do with if you grew up with it or down with kids today. Perms, Bell bottoms, Shoulder Pads on suits, Medallions, Dungarees....they were all accepted for a fleeting moment just be looked back in a few short years later with absolute disdain.
I just feel embarrassed for a grown man wearing Skinny Jeans.
