| look, i think pep[le should have their skinnies, i//m just saying there is no other option and its getting ridiculous. Surely there must be some guys with big asses that have a ing hell of a time finding pants. |

I ended up finding a few on Amazon, because they're exactly like the ones I've already got... I just need to wait for my salary to go back to normal (the university staff cocked it up and I won't receive the money I should've earned in May/June/July before August).
The others you guys recommended were awesome, but they were slightly more expensive (and this has become something of a problem lately because of the exchange rate :(). |

Bureaucracy + Inefficiency = Poor Lira
I'm a temp. As such, I need to have my contract renewed every 6 months. This is usually no big deal, but this time they phoned me in June to sign the contract - when I got there, I found out my contract was supposed to be renewed in March, the document was printed in May, and HR only got it this month. Then the secretary told me that, because I couldn't sign the document on the very same day they contacted me (I had to go there on the following day), this meant my payment would be delayed for one more month - never mind the fact I couldn't sign the document because I was on my way to a lecture when they contacted me.
Being a scientist (or, a pseudo-scientist, as Meat would put it) is by no means easy in Brazil. The sole reason I'm working as a temp right now is because I wouldn't be able to give talks with the money I receive as a PhD candidate... it's thanks to this money I'm not starving. |

Oh well, that August pay-day is going to be pretty sweet :p Definitely a "let's go out for dinner" event, IMO. |
