Preparing a trance set for non-trancers

Kay... in October the 5th, I need to prepare a mixed trance CD. The problem is, it'll be played to around 100 people, and obviously, most of them are "normal radio people" :D What to play to such crowd? I'd like some nu-nrg and uplifting trance recommendations. Here's what I've got so far ( as you can see, there are too many old tunes  ):
Robert Miles - Children (any other good known intro?)
Gouryella - Ligaya (Original Mix)
Tony De Vit - Don't ever stop
Yoji Biomehanika - Look @ the Heaven
Vicent de Moor - No hesitation
Marco V - Godd
....
What do you guys think? (How) Should I go on with this set? :conf:
PS: I need it to be about 90 min long :p |

If they're used to rap or some other crap genre, take out Robert Miles. :p Wouldnt want to go to hard..or to soft. Hmmm. Just my thought. I dunno :D

If I drop Robert Miles, what would I play instead then?
I'm almost adding Asereje :D Kidding :) |

You got that on vinyl? Where you get that? :D
Anyway just throw in a few commercial tunes after every 4 or 5 tracks. Stuff like DJ Sammy - Heaven, Scooter - Nessaja (lol) etc, etc. And if you can throw in some remixes of commercial tunes (dumonde remix of bartezz maybe?) that would be good too..
Actually playing commercial stuff is not easy I know, but it will help. Let me know how you get on :) |

I'm almost adding Asereje :D Kidding :) | Aria - Dido (Armin Van Buurens Universal Religion Mix) :D Old but a great way to start a set or cd. :p |

No DVS, I don't have the vinyl (I wish :D) I mix mp3 as a hobby, I won't get paid for this - these people just asked me what trance is and I'm preparing this set. I tried to buy all the mixing equipament some years ago, but my parents freaked out and they got all the money I had saved for my pickups and stuff :whip:

Isn't the intro too long? I don't think they'll wait that much :( Damn, I love that song :) I thought about Magik Journey too, but I don't think they'd wait for this one either  |

DJ Tiesto - Magik Journey (Original Mix) is another good one. :D Most intro songs have a long intro..you could possibly edit it. :conf: |

| try starting off and ending with a song most people would know and that you like offcourse. In the middle of the set add the cool songs that would blow their socks off. That way they will be like "what song was is that played after ex. Southern sun (tiesto mix) I really liked it. It goes like" at which point they will try to sing it to you. Also usually people non tranceaddicts like the remix of songs they know. They want to sing along. ex U2 - New Years day (ferry corten mix) WOW |
