Why should you bash others opinions telling them that your taste has evolved a lot more than the taste of the ones who like Ferry, Armin or Gielen? or at least that's what I think your saying...
Just because Oakenfold's taste in music has "evolved" does it mean that yours has to "evolve" in the same way? And that the people who don't like it and stick to uplifting/melodic are just one step behind the others who do like it?
Please explain, if I'm getting this wrong

As for Oakie I'm basing my opinions on his last sets I heard him play live which were Gig on the Green in Glasgow, 25th August & Perfecto, Pacha, 23rd July. Two dates that were not that far by-gone, two times I had to endure Bullet in the Gun for god knows how many times now. Just not a patch on his sets from the late nineties.

Both of those DJ's are top quality, there's no debating, Matt Hardwick will take over the world, and Halliwell is just too damn good :p
Both those Oakie sets are MASSIVE events, in which many people will go to hear Bullet in the Gun, at GG there was no hint of cheese whatsoever (not that I could hear that much from outside the tent, as the entire place was filled with ppl shouting his name, which funnily enuff happened at SSS as well)....
bleh anyway, form what I hear John Kelly is on and off, then again, he shouldn't be mentioned in the same conversation as the others, unless your ridiculing him, which you are, so carry on :p |

Have you even listened to a recent Oakenfold set? I doubt it. Everyone who knows anything will agree that his recent sets have been class, with all top-notch tunes.

Theres lots of people like `Acid Circus` who listen to much to other people, Like a guy in my class who swears Oakenfold plays breaks & cheep dance music. These people need to put them-selves in the driving seat and see for them self instead of hiding behind there freinds and following the leader. Listen to Oakenfold your self then comment !
The worse some-one can say about Oakenfold is `I Dont like his music` |

But Germany own the trance community............UK have some DJs but NOTHING compare to Germany

Paul van Dyk, Tall 2XLC, Dumonde, Blank & Jones, Cosmic Gate, Scot Project, CJ Stone, DJ Taucher, Kai Tracid..................
Producers/remixers:
Martin Eyerer, Green Court, Reeloop, Woody Van Eyden, Derb, Aquagen, Tillmann Uhrmacher...........don't forget some of the DJs I listed are great producers/remixers too
