I have a dedicated line straight from the breaker to the outlet and one thats not, tried both. You just don't get it, SSD's are tighter when it comes to mixing on traktor scratch pro 2.

And palm why do you care so much on what i think anyway?

my god you dont get it. ssd doesnt affect sound. period. pcie, sata whatever, it has nothing to say. we have had awesome sounding systems since early 90s from computers wihtout ssds using normal hds. dont ing think anything else.

if you have trouble with your mixes its most likely your analog chain: cables, monitors, djmixer etc. why dont you try connecting a different source to the monitors and see if its still there? like an ipod? if thats ok then try connecting you ipod through your dj mixer? if thats ok then you are probably having issues with the traktor dac or maybe some traktor settings (like latency?). just accept the fact that the harddrive has nothing to do with it. nor usb vs thunderboldt. nor sata vs pcie.

get a grip.

So let me guess you want me to on my knees and despite my experiences with ssds and say normal hard disk is the same.

Who said i was having trouble to begin with? I only said whats better.

How about ssd better performance, than sound quality?
clay
you said you had wobbling sound (see above quotes if you have short time memory problems).

you said you couldnt use traktor (see above quotes if you have short time memory problems).

Find me the post saying i can't use traktor.

You never used traktor scratch pro on tech 1200's so you wouldn't know the difference.

SSD is more accurate in mixing than in normal HD.

Normal HD sounds wobbly compared to SSD.

Newb!

Sorry but from what I heard i'll take it to the grave and will only keep it my self which i did before and you insulted me on it. To the OP get what you want but from my own experience SSD's are better for performance. I wouldn't get it for sound quality alone when it coms to producing but for djing yes ssd's means more.
