After while i got little bored hearing all these uplifting DJs like Tiesto, PVD, Ferry and Armin etc.( Dont give wrong !! I love their productions along with DJing skills!! )
How come not many people mention Sasha these days? He just released kick ass album "Airdrawndagger" and along with amazing " Delta heavy tour" with John Digweed. I kinda got bored with trance for few month but Sasha got me back to where i used to be !!! I have seen him live twice and both nights were en amazing !! His live sets were alot more pumping then his albums which truely understand what to play in different circumstances. He is coming again tomorrow here LA which kinda sux to enjoy Sasha's music with pressure that u have to go to classes in next day but once again Sasha will play flawless liveset tomorrow. Even tho he is into more housey tunes these days, he somtimes play kick ass trance !!! Cant wait for tomorrow !! What do u guys think about Sasha these days? |

Hmm.. imo airdrawndagger is one of the best artist albums i have, it's just need to be listened carefully. It gets better everytime! The album wasn't that usual Sasha style (Xpander) but it was much more interesting combination of different soundscapes and atmospheres. Great album altogether! :happy2:
I don't collect mixes or livesets so i dunno about them so much.. but i have Sasha - GU in Ibiza which is also one of my fav mixed cds.. (i have about 10 mixed compilations). |

I dunno, there's something that doesn't do it for me, maybe too soft...It's good but then if I listen to MMII I can easily say MMII is WAY better, but then....it's an artist album :)
Maybe I should listen to it some more, for now it hasn't grown on me yet. |

You must listen to it many times, it grows on you. Kinda the way that leftfield's leftism and rhythm and stealth grow on you. Simply the best album of 2002. |

Sasha is nothing. His album is ok, but just think how many people helped him produce it!
I dont really like his dj skills at all. I bought GU In San Fracisco and i was very disapointed. I though he spin progressive and trance, but i only heard deep house and techno. The techno made the album ok. But the deep house was really bad choosed and it didnt make nothing for it. If his other mixed albums are in the same way i think u are all crazy to think he is a great dj. |

U obviously have no clue !! Sasha is more house DJ and his GU San Fancisco rocks !!! His production is so good cuz he work together with people who knows music !! Who produce music alone these days anyway ??

MMMMmmmmm finally got Leftfield - Leftism the other week there, but I have only got to listen to it once and wasnt that overly impressed with it, although i do love Melt.
I LOVE the way Sasha'a ablum starts, dont no why, its just perfect:) |
