8 out of 10 prog tracks are boring/regressive!
Sure progressive can be nice to listen to sometimes but Dude(!) , There's no power in that genre...
like u go out to a club to dance...and they play progressive...
All u see is ppl moving like zombies...really slow and with lack of energy...
It IS boring!
Progressive is good music , but I would never dance to it...

Progressive is nice for chilling and relaxing to and listening in the car or after a big night out
but on the dance floor.. dont wanna know about it |

| I used to think progressive was boring too. But I think after you listen to the same damn formulaic trance tracks, your taste naturally evolves. Right now there are some great progressive tracks and some of my fav prog DJs are Sasha, saeed & Palash, Chris FOrtier, etc. If you consider their sets boring, you simply are not musically intelligent enough tto see how brilliantly these DJ's layer their sets. If you listen to Sasha GU13 ibiza, you will feel as if you are being taken for a journey. I still agree that I prefer to hear trance on the dancefloor because of its energy. But I love to drive around and listen to some bangin progressive. |
