Is a pretty cool ing city...
I had never been before and while i was in Vancouver visiting my GF's family, the Ms and I drove down for the day on Thursday. Did the EMP museum, pike market and a great dinner on the waterfront. I was thoroughly impressed. not nearly the number of stuck up elitist twats that downtown Van City has. Dont get me wrong, hongcouver is a great town, but seattle was super chill. Wished i had stayed there longer to be honest, oh well, next time... |

| I know I have a really bad habit of talking about my love for my hometown too much, but there's a reason for it. |

That's where you're wrong, most employers I've known in the past are at the point that if an 'actual' developer is only socially retarded, managed to turn up with pants on to the interview and won't bite the staff- they'll have a job.
Anyone else claiming otherwise just won't work by choice. |

Lol, my gf and i grabbed a coffee from the original starbucks in the pike market and sat in the park at the end of the market... hilarious mix of hipsters, business guys in suits and homeless natives all in the same place. |

Not to kill your vibe or be a pedantic buzz-kill, but that's not the original Starbucks :p It is a fun, one, though - in a very fun area. I love going down to Pike Place. Some very excellent cocktail bars and restaurants around there, too.
It is a shame, though, that all those homeless congregate at that park. |

if theres one thing canadians are used to besides the cold, its seeing homeless natives in public. They are as common as skidoos and mounties here |
