Joris Voorn - Ringo

Now I haven't been here long but I'm guessing this forum is probably anti-Joris Voorn. I have to say that usually I am too, his style (post 2006) is usually vapid. That's why I was surprised to find that his latest track is actually quite cool!

The melody sounds as though it could have come from a trance song (albeit with a little more swing) and kinda reminds me of the one from Pulser - My Religion

What do you guys think?

Still sounds really cheap like most of his work post 2008.

good comparison with pulser - my religion, i hear it... loved that tune! a quick listen of it shows up the joris track as the effeminate pansy crap that it is.

the pusler track: dark, haunting, driving, gnarly, anthemic.

the joris track: gay :stongue:

lets just stick this here for comparison and/or reality check :D

the pulser track stands up really well today still.
OrangestO
different strokes, different folks. i think it's dope.

Ah the elusive Ringo, pretty good track, im all for the feel-good vibe. I do quite enjoy that flutter on the lead.

you're?

either way let's refrain from using gay as a derogatory term, what are we 12?

I do agree that the track still has that 'weak' new-Joris Voorn sound to it but as someone else said, it's a nice feel-good track with a really pleasant melody.
rubez
who said it was derogatory?

it's people like you that keep it that way, it is an adjective in popular culture. it's not the first time the word has been remoulded :stongue:
