well he doesn't come on until 3am so its low risk for the club... Marquee NYC is underground each friday so they probably figured might as well try it in Vegas and see how it goes... |

PS - all we've been hearing/reading the past few years is how cheesy Vegas music is (outside of EDC).
Now that Marquee books Richie instead of people being stoked he's there the comments all seem to be questioning why he's even playing. gotta start somewhere! |

dont get me wrong. id love to see him play in vegas but not really at marquee. maybe some smaller/dirty off the strip club or after hours lounge ya. |

Ehh there is enough hype around Richie Hawtin the night will probably go well. Crowds will feel cool for being "in the know" about an "unknown" artist playing.
Hawtin...the mainstream of the underground...sums it up pretty nicely. |
