Just because it passed doesn't mean we can afford the needed amount of money to the program. It also doesn't mean we NEED to shift our budget to fund this program. Money needs to be appropriated wisely when creating a budget. Budget time is sometimes ruthless. There are programs, offices, agencies, etc. that receive more or less funding or are sometimes even scrapped.
We're in the and if you ignore the taste of feces while it passes your upper lip, I'm afraid you are interested more in pointing fingers across the aisle than you are at solving problems.
I am in no way advocating the tactic of the Republican Party during this crisis. But, I will certainly not stand by a bunch of limp wristed liberals with robin hood syndrome who won't even come to the table to offer an alternative to the republicans' demands.
I hope this shutdown will force both sides to compromise. If Henry Clay were here, we wouldn't have that problem. |

It's things like these that remind you of how dysfunctional government in all places are. Some are definitely more amusing than others though, like Australia! You never know when the back-stabbing insult hurling sessions will end with someone killed by a poisonous snake, a venomous spider, or Julia Gillard. |

I always imagined that if he wasn't here or posting on stormfront, he'd be out the front of his mom's trailer practising with nunchucks... that has now been amended to include yourself egging him on with a can of lukewarm beer.
Not quite sure how the story ends, but somewhere along the line some irreparable brain damage is involved. |

It can happen because the republicans in the house are horrible excuses for people that don't give a damn about this country or the world. |
