(big update) As per a document I uncovered from Community Board 5's website the entire club will look significantly different. There will no longer be an opening between the first and second floor. They made it into a floor and the first floor will have a low ceiling. This is great news imo, low ceiling = good sound quality
The entire space was accessed by a sound engineer and he documented the design of the club in this pdf >>>

the document also states that the club will not use outside promoters (eg. made events...) they will be open until 5 am on Fridays and 6 am on Saturdays, VIP upstairs on 2nd floor, and 3 bars |

with Verboten now opening up right by Output, and with Sankeys too, can the city really take this competition?
Short term this will be great, even more decision hell for sure, but long term, wonder if they can all keep it up, without the venues selling out for bucks.
LAST thing we need is for Pacha to decline so much for ex. that it goes away and THEIR crowd comes knocking.

yeah i guess i'm not into crosstown rebels as some of you are.
i haven't heard fur coat or amirali but can't seem to get into anything the label releases lately. |

Really? I much prefer it when clubs have different nights ala Sullivan Room etc.. Keeps the crowds and sounds separate and allows for more risks and unique acts from different promoters. Of course I'm horribly biased but still.. |
