Sankeys ibiza is hands down my favorite club on the island. It was modeled to look very similar to the one in Manchester which has since closed. They are trying to model this one very close to the one in Ibiza as well, just a no frills dirty basement club. Check out this article which mentions "incredible LED hydraulic grid matrix ceiling that moves up and down." Also mentions the dj booth being on the floor like the rest of the Sankeys have been.

It even looks very similar to the one in Ibiza. I agree that the opening lineups aren't spectacular but give it some time I'm sure they'll ramp things up,they have a pretty good reputation. As soon as Steve Lawler and Darius Syrossian are on the lineup I'm making the trip up. And hell who knows, there's a special guest playing Halloween night. |

I really dig this part of the interview, mainly the staff POV, they were more than cool to ppl partying in ibiza...

Sounds like an interesting, but very expensive, gimmick.
Personally, I can do without that sort of stuff, even if it`s cool, just not nec.

esp. the DJs from Europe will appreciate that.
But I but, unlike there, if you so much as stick your finger across the invisible line (if you even can), sec. will break your hand before tossing you out, this is NY, MF!
Are we looking at another F1 installation in that picture above? |

A no camera policy would work well here, or atleast no camera on the dancefloor |
