I can always count on partying with TA peeps.
Always fun and friendly offline!
Some interesting times were to be had.
Bonding over chicken wings also helps.

| yeah old .. I already have two kids .. today I was talking to my partner about how there is not much activity here these days .. figure the new kids are relying more on the social networks to organize |

With something like partying, FB makes so much more sense. But the biggest drawback is that you are less likely to meet up with people unknown to you, no more front room, center.
For actual music discovery, forums will always have a place. Has the new gen just moved onto Reddit for that sort of thing? I have started to use reddit instead of various other forums I used to visit.
Also, I love being in bed by 10pm. The few daytime parties from this year have been very welcome. |

As a lurker, I always liked your posts dude. Always on point. I remember those days of meeting up with people from the forum and putting a face to the name - good memories :)
slightly OT thought: That anonymous aspect of the internet is rapidly shrinking with social networks getting you to use your real name.
