any chance of this happening in the near future? orkidea has been pulling it off from time to time on his radio show recently...
good trance and modern popular deep house have more in common than one may think

and yes i realise your deep house is different to my deep house and my trance suck and your is better lalalala

thoughts?

Matt Darey has made a nice transition from playing trance to blend of deep house to prog house

You could argue there's a good intersection between deep house and progressive house (see: Tom Middleton) but why the anyone would want to mix it with trance, I don't know.

I've mixed it with nowadays prog (Guy J - Fixation to be exact), but I wouldn't touch prog-trance with it.

This new orkidea mix is an insane example of the crossover i was talking about.

fantastic.

Sounds like a nice set from a quick listen, but I can't hear any trance in there at all.

the second half is pretty trancey (from 37 min on lets say)- the last 2 tunes are classics remixed even :)
