| All of the labeling of Liberal ideas as "socialism" trying to rekindle sentiments that were held 50 years ago. |

| Does it have to be in the US? I'm sure there's plenty of stuff you can get from North Korea, and it would be nearly as polemic as picking anything from contemporary American politics. |

Anywhere, Lira.
A couple I could think of were the Pat Tillman Story, the Jessica Lynch story, the Iranian Space Monkey, North Korea's failed attempt at launching a satellite, and George Bush's 2003 Mission Accomplished Speech.
I'm actually more curious about propaganda in other countries, though, since it's pretty easy to pick on the U.S. |

I would think it's pretty obvious to most erudite persons that the meaning is propaganda designed to hurt, as opposed to propaganda designed to glorify, or in other terms, mehehe, positive propaganda. |

Or is it propaganda that was meant to make some entity look good but it backfired and turned them into a laughing stock? |

A non-political/boundary or war based propaganda campaign might be something like the whole "Apple Vs Samsung thing" that went on and made Apple look like s.
From Jobs screaming about destroying them, to the high profile civil lawsuits getting chucked out every five minutes, sales banned or delayed and other every other blog or journalist asking people to pick a side.
As stupid an petty as it seems, it did polarise a lot of people |
