| They also eat dogs in S. Korea. I used to walk by some places there, and there would be an unusual smell issuing from some restaurants and residences. Could've been dogs, cause it sure as hell wasn't pork. |

Koreans eat dog. I've eaten Bosingtang before (dog soup). It isn't just any dog, but a special one that is farmed just for this dish. It isn't any different than farming beef, and eating steak. It was actually pretty good. Koreans also believe that it has an effect on your virility, as well as the soup being a traditional medicinal remedy for the ultra hot days that can come in summer.
It isn't cheap either.
If you want something ed up that a small portion of South Koreans do. They make a special tea out of baby . It has several "medicinal" purposes. It is a very fringe thing though.
If you really went to Korea alpha(lol), it sounds like you did it like a . Faggit protocol.
They actually have a pretty amazing food culture. |

In Asia they are obsessed with how fresh something is. It is why many animals have their heads served still on in some dishes here. They want the whole thing. A dish like that is just to show that the squid has been offed very close to serving time.
edit: Jack, the dish appears to be Japanese. |
