trance or techno recommedations?

| Hi, first of all I am new and I have been lagging to join forums that love electronic music. I love Trance more than anything along with Techno. Reason I wanted to join some forums is to get people that have the same taste of music. I haven't seen anything good out there lately from ATB, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren (one's that are mostly common to me) the last good song was from him "Armin van Buuren feat. Cindy Alma - Beautiful Life" one of the best I have heard from him recently. Now any DJs similar to those and songs like that? I hope this can become my home thanks in advance :) |

| Interestingly enough gpister, you might find that some of the Techno made these days can put you in a deeper state of trance than music labeled as Trance. |

| I remember when I starting electronic I was actually hearing trance I had no idea I always thought it was techno, but I know I love techno to. The thing is I havent seen anything good lately and its nice to add something to the library when its a good song. |

I will check those out some of the few I like:
ATB - Twisted Love
Tiesto - In the Dark
ATB - What about us
Armin Van Buuren - We are here to make some noise
Those are a few definitely top list of favorites. I just want to add music that's similar to it. I will check the recommended ones. |

You still don't have a clue what techno is.
Don't worry, most people don't. Almost every result from googling "techno" is utterly wrong. You'll find a lot of real techno in this forum if you take the time to dig a little.

Going by your list of favorites I'd say you probably won't enjoy techno. Of course I could be wrong. Use discogs.com and search for some artists you know you like. Check out tracks from aliases, groups they're in, and the labels they're on. Discovering music on your own is a lot more giving than getting recommendations from others. And the best of it all - it doesn't rely on everyone else having to do all the work for you.
edit; that Ness - Hive Structure track might be a better example of techno than mine, as it's from this side of the century. |
