So what if I pay for cable. I'm not as cool as you two now. Oh, I'm so hurt. Plus you derailed the thread

The original post barely makes sense. Reformulate your question.

Sort of like fate I guess you could say, it has more to do with Newton's law of motion. The Universe is like a big clock that was wound at the beginning of time and thus everything you do is predetermined . Einstein was a big fan of this and he said murderers weren't really 100% at fault for their actions because they were predetermined billions of years ago to do so but that doesn't mean they should be let free he later said.

Heisenberg said that electrons are random and can occur here or there or simultaneously here and there and thus over minding Newton's law of motion from what I understand. I could be wrong, I'm just dabbling with the idea I read from a Theoretical physics.

Einstein and Heisenberg (although I'm not certain) but they both used a God reference in explaining their situation.

Einstein said God does not play dice with the Universe.
Heisenberg said God does play dice with the Universe.

And that's all I know at the time.

this doesn't make sense to you

Basically what you gotta look at is the acronyms that are within their names. With all letters of non-arameic origin stripped away, we can see that both have the typical scientist "ei", elected individual, which automatically grants them wisdom and superiority. However, Einsteins name does possess the double Ein-Ein, which since the birth of man has been seen as a holy curse. This of course alludes us to believe that his name has a higher magickal value than Heisenbergs name. Rookie mistake! You're forgetting about the H on the beginning of his name, which of course stands for Hell, which makes his EI more powerful than a mere Ein-Ein.

This doesn't make sense to me because you're conflating and throwing together all sorts of ideas that you've just read about.

You asked if anyone still believes in determinism. Yes, many people do. In fact, more educated (about the topic) people believe in determinism than believe in free will. Quantum mechanics doesn't give you free will, it just plays games with the idea of a clockwork universe. It wasn't the only problem with the clockwork universe idea, though. Relativity, both general and special, also it up.
