But to answer the question - yes, and you should tip well, even if it does seem awkward. It'll be more awkward and ed up if you don't tip at all, or a little.

Doing business with friends is awkward. Paying or being paid by a friend is not exactly normal, I know.
Here I would expect the friend to say he doesn't want it, and then I'd crack a joke so he would keep the tip. If he still refused, and I felt like I was insisting too much, I'd feel obliged to do him a favour later... or something of the sort. |
