DEMF 2014 Phase 1 lineup

Masssssivvvve phase 1 lineup was just released by the boys at Paxahau for Movement 2014. Really outdid themselves this time.
Pure techno is represented in all its glory. And Carl Cox at DEMF? :eyespop: :crazy: Adam-X is a must-see, and seeing Carl Craig perform "at home" at DEMF is always a treat.

| Had a great time two years ago at this. Something all tech fans should definitely experience. Me personally, I just don't need to experience Detroit again. Tech has really expanded with things like BPM, WMC, EDC all in places far nicer than Detroit. Not to mention Europe. My 2 cents... |

Definitely. But to me, there's something about Detroit, Hart Plaza, and that festival. Plus I can't see all the Detroit names that I can at DEMF. Sure a few here and there will play at WMC, Europe, etc but never all of them. Detroit Techno Militia (if any of you have never seen DTM 2x4, you NEED to catch it at '14. So dope), Mike Huckaby, all the usual suspects (Craig, Pullen, Mills, etc) are what make that festival so damn good. Oh, and the reentry policy. And Hart Plaza is really ing badass and so is the VIP area. And it's CHEAP!!
I kinda wrote it off this past year and then I realized how much I miss going to that thing and how "pure" the vibe is there. Never again. |

Yeah man! Will be cool to hang at DEMF, such a chill vibe there. Anyways, yeah this is on my priority list. WMC is nice and all but Miami is always 4 hours away and there's always sick going on down there. Probably just do two nights of WMC (Drumcode and one other thing). But definitely will be doing DEMF. Probably ADE again next October too :toothless |
