I know its all about personal taste, but Trance is not the same anymore. Deep House scene seems to be on a bigger scale. Not to mention those parties have a entirely better vibe and crowd any day. |

Also now and days its kinda hard to decifer deep house/tech/deep tech/tech house. Most of the djs that spin in this genre spin all 4 types of music I just listed seamlessly. Sven is one of the best at playing a real mellow slow bpm deep house song and progressing to some hard tech. This IMHO is what makes a set. I want to go on an emotional journey rather than jumping around to some 145bpm music while pumping my fist to the endless jibber jabber that is typical edm (cough cough trouse ect) |

Don't let it be your final trance show Andy... can still be proper.
I remember the Luminosity party I went to during ADE in Amsterdam -- was better than the Mobilee warehouse and nearly as good as Drumcode Awakenings...
You know there's nothing quite like the energy and excitement of walking into a proper trance show with some dark 140 bpm techy going off. Now the hands-in-the-air fruity Solarstone , that. But yeah, proper techy 140 bpm trance is still good and not many shows from other genres can really touch that vibe.
I'm actually thinking of taking a 4 day getaway to NYC to go to the big Future Sound of Egypt show in August, probably hit up Output and Verboten for some techno while I'm at it. |

| Yeah Future Sound of Egypt is just proper. The trance boat party at WMC was just pure bliss and heavenly. I don't like solarstone at all and don't care for him. On the other hand I heard Kristina Sky made up for it at Pure Trance. I'll never leave trance, its in my heart and soul not matter how dead it gets over here. Thats all I'm sayin. |
