We hung out near the bar on the left just beside VIP for just about the entire night. Was plenty of room to move there and the sound was still alright. SP came on around 1230a and seemed play in the 140ish range for pretty much the entire night.
He rarely played anything with vocals had didn't even have many hands in the air type breakdowns either. I'm not going to lie, I don't think I recognized hardly anything from his set, I just remember he played a remix of the track or a sample of the Samuel L Jackson "oh I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?" early on. Overall he just played pounding with constant energy.
The crowd filled out a bit more just before he came on, but it never got super crowded like I've seen for some shows there in the past and there didn't seem to be too many douchebags pushing and shoving through the crowd or just acting a fool, at least that I saw. Overall, we had an awesome time! |

Good times last night! Arrived inside the club about 11:30 and Luccio was opening up the main room. To be honest he was terrible so decided to hang out in the den room till Simon came on. When he came on at 12:30 the bpms starting climbing quick and didn't end pretty much the whole set. We were hanging out on the right side of the stage towards the front. I gotta tell ya the sound system is not great. Way too much bass and barely no mids/highs to fill in. The lighting is good but seems a 12 yr old kid controls them in the booth. They do not flow with the music one bit making it annoying. Lots of young edm kids but saw that coming. HTG needs to have open to close sets instead of having a opener. Simon is use to playing 8+ hour sets more often than 2 hour ones. Overall fun night hanging out with friends.
On a side note Aly & Fila and Simon Patterson have been Orlando's best Trance shows imo.
I took a few vids so will upload later.. |

Hi Orlando peeps, fyi Psymon will be back in FL on Friday May 23rd at Gryphon Nightclub this time for an extended set. Gryphon is a proper venue fully equipped with a funktion one sound system and state of the art lighting. Our opener Michael Gin knows his place as an opener and always does a great job of teasing the crowd before the headliner comes on.
If you guys can make the trip we're offering FREE entry until 12:30, just RSVP names to [email protected] if you wish to be added to the guestlist:)

Hope to see you on the Dancefloor |
