I think everyone is buggin. I agree its somewhat gimmicky, but I've experienced much worse at shows (singalongs etc). That's just something that trance fans -correction- #TranceFamily gets off on.

but if I ever see this next time I am out in a club, I runnin parallel to a line of people sitting down and ripping the worst fart in gods creation

LMAO... love it.. good to know I am not the only one... :P

Yea.. I guess it is cool from the DJs perspective..
But I would think everyone dancing like there is no tomorrow would be more appealing than everyone crouching down.. lol

Gosh, especially if you're telling me this is normally done when a great drop is about to happen.. lol

Trancefamily totally does get off on this . If you ever have the chance to party in Europe or South America where the scenes are absolutely insane, you guys might get a different opinion. People love this and the majority of people there that night loved it too. It's like a blast of energy once the beat drops.

this is very strange! hahahah i cant imagine it even going along with a set like that?

And CarS as far as peer pressure...that ruins the ENTIRE point...

as I said, it was done out of fun and respect...so if ANYONE has to be TOLD to do it...its pointless 100%

I have hardly ever encountered this, without at least one person start giving people looks, arm motioning, or saying, to get down.

Most people dont like to stand out, so even without that, the people who don't like it but are in the middle, just conform, you know how it is.

i don't worry too much about stuff like that, if I did, you wouldnt see me at events like this in the first place, lol

As to SA or Europe, i don't like it, and wont like it more, just because 3000 people are doing it.

Thankfully at Luminosity in October, not a problem, though come to think of it I saw it at the Gallery at MoS recently

Strange to hear that this originated with trance. I've only ever seen it at other events:
